After burning the midnight oil and passing on most of the usual seasonal festivities, we have completed the interior of Medina Cafe.

Though we may be biased, this is definitely the nicest cafe in Vancouver.  Designed by owners Karri Schuermans and business partner Rob Kane, the space though small is incredibly warm and offers the same quality of food, beverage and decor that one would expect from a cafe owned and operated by it’s neighbour and one of our favourite restaurants in the city, Chambar.

We’ve posted a few pictures here but to truly appreciate the space you really must stop in for a coffee and waffle (mmm waffles).  When you do, please tell them we say hi.

This weekend, May 4,5th and 6th I am participating in the Design Vancouver Urban Living Expo at the convention centre.

It’s pretty well a design focused home show so if you are at all interested in “forward-thinking design and lifestyle brands” you would most likely find something to drool over.
